Linguistic and gastronomic landscapes in Italy

Italian language and cooking course, in collaboration with Università per stranieri di Perugia and Università dei Sapori

 

 

The Italian Language Course, organized by Università per Stranieri di Perugia, is aimed at teaching the Italian language through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates culture with the world of art.
The course will provide the participants with the opportunity to gain basic skills to perform short conversations, to easily understand verbal sketches and to interact in everyday life.
The Italian language lessons will take place at Villa Rufolo (Ravello).

The “Linguistic cooking” Course will provide the participants with the opportunity to learn how to make Italian gastronomic specialties and their proper combination with wines.
Differently from the traditional cooking courses addressed to the tourists, generally realized in their mother tongue, this course will be held in Italian language.
The Chef (Università dei Sapori di Perugia) will be joined by the Italian language professor (Università per Stranieri di Perugia), who will introduce the students to the specific vocabulary related to the preparation of a meal, including the choice and purchase of ingredients.
The participants will have the possibility to put into practice the linguistic structures learned during the course.
The cooking lessons will be held at the Hotel Bonadies (Ravello).

Programme

 

The course will take place with a minimum of 10 participants.
Maximum number of participants: 20.
At the end of the course the participants will receive a final certificate of attendance.
