A great part of the research activity is carried out within national, European (ERASMUS, Horizon, etc.) or international programmes. A fundamental step of the research cycle is represented by project activity that, particularly in the last years, has been very intense. Since 2010 the responsible of this activity has been Prof. Fabio Pollice, economist, Chancellor of Salento University. 

More than 100 are the institutions actively involved, both at planning and realization levels, and more than a third are represented by foreign institutions and international bodies.

Specific web sites and publications, on paper and on CD, represent the final product of research activities, and they contribute to spread activity results worldwide, as well as to grant the Centre's visibility.
